Jayapataka Swami: You see Srila Prabhupada said that if we asked a question, that is not offensive. If the thing is presented as a question, then it is not offensive.  Criticism or complaint may be offensive. Usually one offers criticism to devotees who are junior and if they have a complaint, that is if they are asked if they have any complaints, problem, they respond. I have a complaint – the prasad is too spicy! Too many chilies or whatever! So, we should be very constructive about our criticism, we don’t want to discourage anyone. At the same time if we see that something is wrong, and we are in a senior position to that devotee, then we may give some constructive criticism. But if that devotee is more senior to us, we may ask a question, but we shouldn’t give any criticism.
