Jayapataka Swami: From the example of Lord Caitanya with Jagai and Madhai, that He restricted everyone from considering them by their former lives. Formerly they were drunkards, rogues, and all that, but now they were devotees of Lord Caitanya. So they should be accepted as that. Period.
