Jayapataka Swami: If one works sometime in the day and one chants Hare Krsna and does preaching some other time. So in that time of the day, they make a lot of money, that is alright. You can use it for Krsna. If they make just enough money to maintain themselves, that is alright. But they should have some time set aside for their spiritual life. Because if they are out of the habit, what is the guarantee they will start again? So some grihastas, they have good karma, they make good money in a short time but they also do different spiritual activities, they do Bhakti Vrksa or donate some money to the temple or the TOVP. So other grihastas they work, they don’t get so much, so at least they should get enough to maintain themselves and sometimes they should give to chanting and reading and preaching everyday. Hare Krsna.
