Jayapataka Swami: Ahankara or false ego makes us identify with this body. Whatever our body is we think we are the body. May be an insect or fish or bird or reptile or animal or human or higher entity, but we are all thinking that we are the body that is called ahankara. What we do as a human being or higher, what we do with our body, we are responsible for the reactions that is the karma. Not the fact that we are attached to the body that is ahankara, that is the part of our being in the material body. What we do with the body produces the karma. If we do good work we get good karma and if we do bad work we get bad karma.
