Jayapataka Swami: That reminds me one of my secretary, Prasanna Gauranga das, his father is now sick in India. So we will all chant one Hare Krsna Maha Mantra for his well-being. Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. So if we can somehow or another get our parent to remember Krsna, that would be the best thing. One of my godbrothers told me that his father was dying, and the family members were standing around him. They were saying that who will take care of the dog, and we will do this thing and the other. This godbrother, he asked his family members, give me five minutes alone with my father. Everybody left the room and my godbrother was alone with his father. He preached to his father that you are not the body, you are the soul, you will live forever. You will leave this body and take another birth. But if you preach, remember the Supreme Lord, and he asked him to repeat after him Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare! Then the relatives were knocking at the door. They were worried that he would get the father give all his property to him. So they came and cried oh! Father! But then the father was swept away by the sentiments. But if we can somehow give our parents to remember Krsna, chanting or somehow remembering Krsna, putting some Ganges water on their head. Put some charanamrita in their mouth, so like that somehow help to connect the person with Krsna.
