Jayapataka Swami:  Lord Caitanya brought his son back to life. He asked him do you want to return to your parents? He said, parents, which parents? Which place? Oh Srivas, Malini! By their mercy I got back to Godhead, You called me back! So if I am allowed to go back to Godhead then I will go back! So then He asked Malini, what do you want? Do you want your son to go back to Godhead? She said, he can go back to Godhead! How is that inauspicious? I don’t know! You are seeing from the material point of view. Like in the 11th chapter Bhagavad-gita, there is a story how one raksasa ate a man’s son and then he told that one man would survive. Why did he survive? Because he chanted every day the 11th chapter Bhagavad-gita. So they said that he could liberate the raksasa and save the son by chanting the Bhagavad-gita 11th chapter, and pouring water over it and pouring that water over the head of the demon. He did that and the demon was saved and the son came out and then the child was taking them back to Godhead. The father said, no, no, your mother wants you. Your pet dog is there! Come back! But he said dad, I am going back to Godhead, please don’t ask me to come back. I will tell you what, you chant the 11th chapter Bhagavad-gita, you will go back to Godhead and I will see you there! Haribol! Goodbye! You see the parent wants the son to come back to the dog, and he wants to go back to Godhead. But Malini and Srivas were very happy when they heard that their son went back to Godhead. That’s all they wanted to know.
