Jayapataka Swami: We understand this is a five day vrata. And if we take a sankalpa that we are following the Bhisma Pancaka, then as far as I understand, that naturally, it is alright to break it on the full moon day. But devotees are always worried about the dvadasi. We heard from His Holiness Bhakti Caru Swami, that if you do the complete fast on the Ekadasi, then you can break your fast taking fruits or roots, whatever. Srila Prabhupada, he appeared, his Vyasa puja is on the day after Krsna Janamastami. So he said, that we can break the Janamastami fast, but with one grain of rice. So if someone is worried about the dvadasi Ekadasi vrata, if they take one grain of rice, saying that this is for the vrata of Ekadasi, then that is one way. Otherwise, if they do the sankalpa for five days, they break their fast on Purnima. Devotees eat my head, what will happen on dvadasi? WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN ON DVADASI? WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN ON DVADASI?!! So they can take one grain of rice.
Also, in this Damodara month, we hope you will send your scores in. How many have offered lamps? And you know, what are the Damodara puja scores. Many devotees don’t send, in or they send late. Send it to the CDM.
