Jayapataka Swami: It says that one accepts a dīkṣā-guru among sīkṣā-gurus, a sīkṣā-guru,who gives most enlightening, relevant personal instructions. So, this devotee could accept some gurus as sīkṣā-gurus, and take instruction from the sīkṣā-gurus, and see which guru they feel is representing Prabhupāda more for them, and ultimately take shelter, and that is the final test. When they think that they have found the guru, they take initiation. I have a number of questions that one could ask oneself, to understand who is, one’s dīkṣā-guru, one has one dīkṣā-guru, but no limit to how many sīkṣā-gurus they can have.
