Nama Om…
Hari Haraya Naama Krishna Yadavaya Namaha Gopal Govinda Ram Sri Madhusudhan
Mukham karoti vaachalam…

So today is Saturday, our physiotherapist is on vacation until Monday. Devotees are helping me do so physiotherapy. I had my voice teacher come, Dr. Prakash, he came today at noon. So we are still practicing the Pa, Tha, Kha, Da, Ga and Ba. In addition to this, I went cycling this afternoon and we completed 500 full cycles. 1000 half cycles. So I was also very pleased to get some report on the Gaura Mandal Bhumi book project, they are visiting the Sripaats in the Gaura Mandala Bhumi, taking photos and where they need repair work they are reporting to the Bhakti Vedanta Swami Charity Trust. Today we had a special dinner of bhel puri and pani puri. I don’t think I have ever had pani puri before. They made the puris by baking them. I would not go over my fat quota, because baking does not require much oil. Otherwise they would cook puris in oil or ghee. So I also remembered how Nimai Pandit, He was offering 100th portion to Vishwaksena. It starts from Durga, Shiva, Ganesh and Karthikeya. Then guru parampara from Brahma, to Narada, to Vyasa, to Madhvacharya, to all the acharyas, down to Madhavendra puri maharaj, Ishwara Puri maharaj and Caitanya Mahaprabhu and all His associates. Down to the six goswamis, the acharyas – Srinivas, Narottam and Shyamananda Pandit, all the other acharyas in the line to Jagannathdas Babaji, Bhakti Vinod Thakur, Gaur Kishore Das babaji, Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Prabhupad Thakur and his illustrious disciple, Om Vishnupad Srila AC Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupad. So since reading this pastime of Lord Caitanya, I try to do this meditation every day at every meal. So we are beginning a new chapter, Sachi mother did not know that her son was diseased or not.

So in this way, Lord Vishwambhar was fully absorbed in the mood of a vaishnava devotee of the Lord. So Sachi could not understand what disease He had or not. So He was in a mood at that time of destroying the atheists who were creating miseries for His devotees.

Mother Sachi did not know anything except offering affection to her son Nimai. She told everyone about Vishwambhar’s behavior.

Mother Sachi would say, Providence has taken away my husband and my sons. At the end, there only remains this one son.

I cannot understand the state of His mind. Sometimes He laughs, sometimes He cries, sometimes He falls unconscious.

Sometimes He says to Himself what’s on His mind, sometimes He says I will tear off the heads of the atheists. So in the mood of Vishnu, who removes obstacles from the path of His devotees, He says how He will smash the atheists or severe the heads of the atheists.

Sometimes He climbs up a tree and sits on a branch, closing His eyes and sometimes, He falls to the ground.

He gnashes His teeth, He wraps His cloth like a wrestler and sometimes He falls to the ground, rolling on the ground and He is not able to utter any word.

Sometimes He would threaten like the professional wrestlers or boxers threaten each other, or challenge each other.

No one has seen or heard of anyone who has had such ecstatic transformations of love for Krishna. Thinking that He had some mental disease of air, the people said He should be tied up.

Hearing from mother Sachi, whoever came to see Lord Vishwambhar thinking that He was insane or had a mental disease, they laughed and ran away.

Hurriedly mother Sachi went and brought the people back. The common person who are not aware of Krishna bhakti, said that some previous derangement has reappeared.

So someone said, you are so ignorant oh Thakurani! Why do you ask further about His condition?

Some previous madness has again come and reappeared in His body. Tie His two legs and keep Him inside the house.

Give Him to drink green coconut water until His madness is cured.

Someone else said what will this weak medicine do? Use Shiva ghee and He will be cured from this disease.

Have Him bathe, pouring, smearing, good medicated oil on His head until the disease loses its course and He regains His intelligence. The oil here they are referring to is ayurvedic like Vishnu thaila or Narayana thaila –thaila means oil – these oils are prescribed to cure any imbalance in the mind.

Sachi mata was greatly magnanimous, she was the mother of the universe. Whatever she heard from others’ mouths, she would repeat those words.

Mother Sachi was overwhelmed with anxiety, she did not know what to do. She surrendered to the lotus feet of Lord Govinda and offered her body, words and mind.

Mother Sachi sent a messenger to Srivas and all the other vaishnavas, at their respective houses. And she made a request to them.

So this is the end of the chapter. Mother Sachi faces “disease” of her wonderful son. So tomorrow, we have an early meeting about the TOVP – Temple of Vedic Planetarium exhibits. So I will just take two questions. Do you have any questions? Otherwise we will look on the internet.

Names of devotees attending online were read by the repeater Radharaman das (?) prabhu.

Question: Maria: How to distribute books when you do not feel happy because of material problems? People feel that you are not happy and not attracted.

Guru maharaj: Being in this material world, there are going to be ups and downs. There will be some favorable things and some unfavorable. Eventually you should be detached from this material perspective. Otherwise things go good, you are happy and if things go bad you are sad. So what is the difference between that and any materialist. Those who think they are the body, if this body is going good then everything is good, if the body is going bad, everything is bad. It is like a car, if the car is going good, oh, we are happy, if the car breaks down we are sad. Now we should not be so attached to our car. Sometimes the car will be good, sometimes it might need a repair. So we should not worry about these difficult times. Rather by distributing books or doing some service to Krishna, no matter whether it is good or bad in material terms, that will purchase Krishna. He wants to see that you are not just a fair weather friend. Fair weather friend means that if you have money you are a friend, if you are broke, then sorry I have no time!! Fair weather friend! You help me I will thank you. You cannot help me, see you later!! So don’t be a fair weather friend. Just like when you get married we say, be together through the good and bad. So how much more that applies to devotional service of Krishna? One more question.

Some people ask personal questions. They should write to my email. I don’t like to discuss so much personal situations publicly. So thank you very much.
