Dear Devotees and well-wishers,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Guru Maharaja’s health continues to improve. His eating and exercise are increasing and overall the results so far are very positive. The doctors are very impressed with his determination and resilience. One of the senior doctors commented, “I don’t know where he gets his strength from”. We all know the answer.

Today he was able to stand for a moment and take a few steps. He continues to be actively listening to reports and is asking different things related to his health. He still feels very tired but slowly seems to be gaining strength.

His meditation though seems to be on the upcoming Purusottama month. Tonight he gave more instructions about how to attract new people to be engaged in Krishna Consciousness during that particularly auspicious month.

Amongst some of his realizations, he commented, “people should realize how great this opportunity is… In Purusottama Month the mercy flows a hundred times more even than Damodara month, so this is a great chance for everyone to get the mercy. Hare Krsna. This is what I thought”.

We can see that although all that we are thinking about is his health and wellbeing, he is simply focused on helping others spiritually.

At some point during this last crisis, a few devotees suggested that Guru Maharaja should be taken to Vrindavan or Mayapur to peacefully rest and maybe wait for the last moments. Seeing his unbreakable mountain-like determination to fight till the end is practically a miracle from many angles. He wants to utilize all his energy and literally all his breaths to do whatever it takes to continue preaching Lord Caitanya’s mercy on behalf of Srila Prabhupada.

Please continue to send your offerings to jpshealth108@gmail.com and we will make sure Guru Maharaja will be reported on this as soon as possible. We humbly request you to continue your sincere prayers and chanting for his fast recovery.

We will keep you informed through www.jayapatakaswami.com, JPS App (available on both iPhone and Android), and twitter (@jayapatakaswami).
