Mukham karoti vacalam pangum langayate girim
Yat kripa tam aham vande sri gurum dina tarinam
Paramananda Madhavam Sri Caitanya Isvaram

Thank all the vaisnavas and vaisnavis for the beautiful song, thank you, nanri!

So again I would like to thank the young people for the nice chanting. Prabhupada has given us a great blessing, because generally people think they are the body and religious people think, I am the body, I have a soul. But the Bhagavad-gita teaches us, we are the spirit souls. We are covered by a subtle body and a gross body. Subtle body consists of the mind, intelligence and false ego. And the gross body is ether, air, fire, water and earth. And we think this is us. But Srila Prabhupada told us that this is not our real identity. Sometimes we are born in a male body, sometimes in a female body. Sometimes as a human being, sometimes as an animal and sometimes as a deva. The real purpose of life is actually to stop the suffering of disease, old age, death and rebirth. We take these sufferings for granted. But we can solve these, by practicing Krsna consciousness. By bhakti yoga we can cross over the sufferings of material life. The material body sometimes gives us pleasure and sometimes distress. Bhagavad-gita calls this world a dukhaalayam. Asasvatam. That this is a place of suffering and is temporary. So we want people to always be happy. By developing our Krsna consciousness, we can have spiritual, unlimited happiness. In the Adivas kirtan which is held before a holy day, there is a song that says that there is unlimited spiritual bliss, and the suffering of material life goes far away! Anander sima nai. Anander sima nai. No limit to the transcendental bliss. Anander sima nai, anander sima nai, ANANDER SIMA NAI. Nirananda dure jai, Niranda dure jai, niranda means unhappiness, dure means far away. Jai means to go. Unhappiness goes far away. And we get spiritual, unlimited happiness. Anander sima nai, anander sima nai. Nirananada dure jai. Nirananda dure jai. So while chanting Hare Krsna, one can taste unlimited, spiritual happiness. The youths are having the kirtan mela and I hope they are also tasting unlimited transcendental bliss! Haribol! So we study the Gita, the Bhagavatam, to get spiritual knowledge. We learn how this material world works. Just like you get some tape recorder, you see the direction manual. Krsna has given the manual for this universe in the form of the Bhagavad-gita. If you want to know how the world works, what are the laws, these are briefly explained in the Bhagavad-gita. People need to have this spiritual education. This is for everybody regardless, of their gender, nationality, creed, race. Everybody can get this transcendental knowledge. Lord Caitanya taught us that we should do three things – bolo Krsna, chant Hare Krsna. Bhajo Krsna, render devotional service to Krsna. Koro Krsna sika – study the teaching of Lord Krsna. So when we came I had to eat in the car to be here. I was told you are waiting. But eating in the car maybe some of the food went in the wrong pipe. Any way this Bhagavad-gita teaches us how this world works and how we can get out of it. Of course, by doing good karmas you can get higher birth. You can go to swarga. But when your good karma runs out, you have to come here. Lord Caitanya, He has given us a special blessing. If we chant Hare Krsna and follow His instructions, we can leave this material world and go back to the spiritual world. So now there are various airlines in Malaysia. Air Asia, Malaysian Air, Malindo. So every airline wants to attract you. Say there are two airlines for eg, there is the Karma airline, and Nitai Gaur’s Mercy airlines. If you follow the Karma airline, you go to the higher planets. But when your karma runs out you come down. And if you follow the Nitai Gaur Mercy airline, you can go beyond the three worlds, beyond the 14 planetary systems, beyond the causal ocean, and beyond Mahesh dhama, beyond the Viraja river and enter beyond the Brahma jyoti, to Hari dhama to Goloka dhama. So who wants to take the Karma airline? Who wants Nitai Gaur’s Mercy airline? Gauranga! Nityananda! Gauranga! Nitai Gauranga Nitai Gauranga, Nitai Gauranga jaya Nitai Gauranga! Nitai Gauranga! Nitai Gauranga! Nitai Gauranga! Nitai Gauranga! Nitai Gauranga! Nitai Gauranga! Haribol! Haribol! Haribol! Haribol! There is one pastime mentioned in the Prema Vivarta by Jagadananda Pandit, that one devakumar, he was playing the forest in Indra loka, in the heavenly planets. There he found a muni sleeping. Durvasa muni. A heavy muni! He curses very easily. That little child, five-year-old boy, he cut off the hair of Durvasa muni, when he was sleeping. When he woke up, his head felt very light. Where did my hair go? Who cut off my hair, he will become a crocodile, I curse him to be a crocodile! He will go to the earth planet and be a crocodile, and live in a swamp. The boy came up and said, muniji, I am sorry, I am just a boy, please forgive me. What is that song they sang, let my aparadh be forgiven. Never brought to mind. So he was pleading Durvasa muni, please, please forgive me! So Durvasa muni said, when I give a curse, I cannot withdraw. But I can amend it. So you will take birth as a crocodile in Navadvip dhama. There in the Kali yuga you will see Caitanya Mahaprabhu. If you touch His lotus feet, you will be forgiven for your offence, and you will be freed from the curse. So Lord Caitanya was doing kirtan one day with His associates. And one cowherd boy came up to Lord Caitanya and said, you are my brother. I am a brahmana, you are a vaisnava, how am I your brother? My mother served Saci mata, Your mother and Saci mata called her as her sister. So if my mother is Your mother’s younger sister, then You are my cousin brother. So I want to give you some prasadam. Please come with the devotees and take some milk prasadam. So then Lord Caitanya went with the boy and then he saw a pond and the cows were on the side mooing. Moo mooo! Mooo! Mooo! The cows were all Tamil cows. Lord Caitanya asked why the cows are not drinking water, why they are mooooing? The boy said, there is a crocodile in the pond. We don’t know where that crocodile is. So if we take water then maybe the crocodile comes and grabs us. So they are mooing to see where the crocodile is. If he is far away, then we can take water. Lord Caitanya told His devotees to chant. Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. The crocodile came up, and it was in the middle of the pond. He gradually swam towards the kirtan party, he came by the side of the pond and he ran up the side of the pond. He leaped, and he touched the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya! Gauuuuuuranga! GAuuuuuuuranga! Gauuuuurang! And the crocodile disappeared, instead there was a devakumar. A young celestial boy. Like these young girls a boy, a celestial boy. These are kumaris, he was a kumar. And then everyone was surprised, how did this celestial boy come in place of the crocodile? So then he explained how he came to be a crocodile in Navadvip. He paid obeisances to Lord Caitanya. And then his parents came by in a special air plane. You naughty boy, come here! Why are you giving us so much trouble? So although by earth time it was a long time, by the heavenly very little time went by. So the devakumar paid his obeisances to Lord Caitanya and went with his parents in the special air plane back to Indra loka. Then Lord Caitanya with His devotees, went to the house of the lady who he accepted as the younger sister of Saci mata and took sweets. He took misti dahi, Rasbari, sandesh, rosagolla and various sweet meats, cham cham, gulab jamun. Many sweets. Thus one day of Lord Caitanya’s sankirtan went. Like this, every day something different happened. And that day there was the celestial deva kumar, liberated from his curse, and Lord Caitanya had milk sweet feast. How would you like to participate in the pastimes of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu? Gauuuuranga! Gauuuuuranga! Gauuuuuranga! So this is the special mercy of Nitai Gaur. This was the mercy brought to Malaysia by Srila Prabhupada. So the devakumar he was cursed, but the curse turned into a blessing. So we want also to get the mercy of Nitai Gaur! Without the risk of any curse! So like this we get some special mercy by chanting Hare Krsna!

Thank you very much! Hare Krsna!
