Mukham karoti vacalam pangum langayate girim
Yat kripa tam aham vande sri gurum dina tarinam
Paramananda Madhavam Sri Caitanya Isvaram

So time has really flown here in Hyderabad. I am very glad to have spent this time with all of you! I hope that I will soon be able to return! I hope that I will still be welcome! Wow! What an impressive chanting! I thank the youth for their chanting Jodi Prabhupad no hoito tobe ki hoito – if there wasn’t Prabhupada, what would there be? Because of Srila Prabhupada’s efforts in establishing this temple in Abids, you are all here! If Prabhupada had not done that, you will not be here! There would have been no temple of Nitai Gaur, Radha Madanamohan, Jagannath, Baladeva, Subhadra Sudarshan Chakra. So because of Srila Prabhupada’s mercy you are all here! Srila Prabhupada ki jai! Srila Prabhupada ki jai! SRILA PRABHUPHADA KI JAI! Prabhupada had a vision, he said he wanted to change the way the people thought. That is may be the most difficult thing! All over the world, even the religious people think, I am the body and I have the soul. And the atheists think I am the body. But we are trying to tell people, we are the soul and we have the body. The body goes through changes and dies, by the soul never dies! So we take birth once again and we take off from where we left off. But if you develop your love for Krsna, if you evolve your knowledge of Krsna, then you can go back to Krsna at the end of this life. No more old age, no more disease, no more death. You can participate in the eternal pastimes of Lord Krsna. So while we are here, we also engage in the service of Krsna. Lord Caitanya established the sankirtan movement and we are continuing in His pastimes. There is a verse in the Caitanya Bhagavat, which says, Lord Caitanya’s pastimes are still going on today, those who are very fortunate, they can see them now! You see them? The pastimes of the Lord are making new devotees in the pastimes of the Lord. We are seeing so many new devotees being made all the time in Lord Caitanya’s sankirtan movement. This was a special effort of Srila Prabhupada to establish Lord Caitanya’s movement. So I thank all of you for your cooperation, in expanding the sankirtan movement here in Hyderabad. We were reading from the Caitanya Caritamrita today, how Lord Caitanya was talking to some ayatollahs in the Muslim religion. And there it is said that, what is told at the end of the Quran is more important, than what is told at the beginning. So in the beginning of the Quran it says, that the Lord is an effulgence. But at the end of the Quran it says that Allah has a Syamasundar form. So you can read the Caitanya Caritamrita Madhya lila where Lord Caitanya was teaching on the Quran. Lord Caitanya on His way to Vrndavan. He told them, study the Quran, see for yourself! Many of the scholars of the Quran do not really understand it. So in the future, we will have one religion, the religion of one Lord, one God. Again I want to thank all of you for coming here very enthusiastically. There were many questions that you gave but we did not have time to answer. If we find those questions we will answer those. Or if any of you have?

Question: (Not a question but a request): For those who missed your blessings the other day, I would request you guru maharaj, please bless us once again, all my brother and sister devotees in the Hyderabad congregation that we get the taste of chanting the Holy name and we live to execute your instructions and we associate with you guru and Gauranga!

Guru maharaj: I cannot speak for others! If anybody has made any offence accidently, knowingly or unknowingly to me, I pray to Krsna to forgive all of you! I pray also that you have a taste for chanting and serving Krsna.

I thank the youths for this video, I don’t know where you got all the footage! Dhanyavadalu (Thank you in Telugu). Hare Krsna cheppandi! (Say or chant in Telugu)

I was taping the questions but they were so diligent in cleaning they took away the papers.

One more question.

Question: Guru maharaj, (guru maharaj said YES) Sometimes we feel strong in Krsna consciousness, sometimes weak and sometimes we feel Krsna is with me and sometimes Krsna is not with me. How to remain strong in Krsna consciousness?

Guru maharaj: One of the anarthas is called thick and thin. Sometimes one’s devotional service is very strong and thick. Sometimes it is thin, it is patla (hindi for thin). So this is one of the anartas. So that is one of the stages of advancement, which is called anarta nivritti. There are many other anartas, this is one of them. If you continue with your devotional service you will cross over this anartha nivritti stage and reach the stage of nista which means being fixed. What is the next stage from nista? Ruci. You have a taste. How many would like a taste of devotional service? Haribol! Haribol! Then when you get a taste then you get attached to that, that is called aasakti. When you reach that stage, the next stage is to have ecstatic love for Krsna. Of course we already said from bhava you get to Prema, which is pure love. In bhava you have the eight ecstatic symptoms. Tears falling from your eyes, hairs standing on end, sometimes uncontrollable laughter, sometimes the voice gets choked up, sometimes you get stunned, like that there are eight ecstatic symptoms. Who would like to experience the ecstatic symptoms of ecstatic love for Krsna? Haribol! Haribol! Haribol! So if you are already on the stage of anarta nivritti, then you are half way there! Haribol!

So Varada Krsna prabhu remembers some of the questions. (Varada Krsna prabhu said only one question.)

Question: Guru maharaj, one mataji asked in Telugu, what all you did to please Srila Prabhupada and what should we do to please you, to make you happy? You made your guru Srila Prabhupada happy by doing so many services, what should we do to please you and make you happy?

Guru maharaj: I don’t know, but I am glad that she knows that Srila Prabhupada is happy! I am not sure yet! I am still trying! I hope that he will be happy! But if you think that I did a lot of service to Srila Prabhupada and he is pleased, you also please do a lot of service. I don’t think there would be so many devotees here if many of you did not do a lot of service. So Srila Prabhupada said that we were ghosti anandis. There are two types of vaisnavas – bhajan anandis and ghosti anandis. Bhajan anandis are interested in their personal elevation. The ghosti anandis want to see the number of devotees increase. More devotees and ecstatic devotees. So when I come next time, you have to have a bigger hall! Bigger air conditioning!

Last question?

Please take my best wishes and love.
