Mukham karoti vacalam pangum langayate girim
Yat kripa tam aham vande sri gurum dina tarinam
Paramananda Madhavam Sri Caitanya Isvaram

Tell Badra Balaram we tried his seat, but it seems the devotees need about 6 weeks course how to use it! It almost dumped me off twice!

Today we are continuing how Lord Nityananda, He saw Lord Caitanya’s six armed form.

When Lord Nityananda saw the Shadbhuja form of the Lord, He fell unconscious. Lord Caitanya personally picked Him, up with His own hands. The Lord held with His own hands, Lord Nityananda’s body.

Rise, RISE, Nityananda Prabhu! Said Lord Caitanya! Steady Your mind! Listen to the sankirtan, congregational chanting that You have begun!

The kirtan for which You have descended from the spiritual world to inaugurate, is going on before You. What more do You want? Lord Caitanya addressed Lord Nityananda – since there is a famine in the world, a famine of Hari’s glorification, You have descended from Goloka Vrndavan to glorify the Lord Hari, and to induce others to chant Hare Krsna. And now that act is being fulfilled! So what further prayers do You have? Haribol! Nitai! Nitai!

That loving devotional service belongs to You. You are prema mayi. You are filled with natural, love of Krsna, and You are the personification of ecstatic love of Krsna. Without You giving this pure bhakti, pure devotional service, no one can possess it. Lord Caitanya is telling that Lord Nityananda is the owner of the wealth of love and devotion. So Lord Nityananda is directly the personification of the Lord’s pure devotional service. No one is able to achieve the Lord’s devotional service without Lord Nityananda’s mercy! Haribol! Haribol! Haribol! Who wants Lord Nityananda’s mercy? You are lucky! Without His mercy we cannot get it!

Control Yourself, rise, look at Your personal associates. With great mercy and to whomever You desire, distribute this wealth of love of Krsna! Lord Caitanya is describing how Lord Nityananda became overwhelmed with ecstatic love and forgots Himself. But He is asking Him to control His loving sentiments, and distribute this love to anyone He desires. Please glance mercifully on Your subordinates! Please glance mercifully on us! We are Your surrendered devotees! Jai Nitai! Ni Tai!

Even if one has a sesame seed of envy to You, He is never dear to Me, even if He worships Me! So if You have any envy towards Lord Nityananda, we disqualify ourselves from being dear to Lord Caitanya. Even if we worship Lord Nityananda, He will never respect us, He never respects such a person.

Murari Gupta Korca: Sanskrit

Translation: By the order of Gaurangadev, Nityananda did not reveal this incident to others. But the enjoyer of Vrndavan, His hairs thrilled with rapture jubilantly acclaimed Him and cried “Indeed You are My brother.”

On the Lord’s order, Lord Nitai regained His consciousness. He was filled with ecstasy on the seeing the six armed form of Lord Caitanya. So on the words of Lord Caitanya, Nityananda regained His consciousness, His external consciousness. He became absorbed in bliss, seeing the six armed form of Gaurasundar. Thus ends the chapter entitled Nityananda Prabhu‘s vision of Lord Gaurasundar’s six handed form.

So we have some time for questions. If we can write, we get priority.

Tomorrow, the result of hearing the narration of Nityananda Prabhu seeing the six handed form! You will hear tomorrow, what results you gained!

Question: Hare Krsna dear Guru maharaj, PAMRO. When we are attending Harinam kirtan or offering arati in temple or home what should be our specific mood and prayer to the Lord? Harita Madhavi devi dasi.

Guru maharaj: If you are attending Harinam kirtan, and offering the chanting, we should give our mind to the Lord, and chanting of Hare Krsna is the request to the Lord to engages us in His service. And as far as offering arati, you are doing a service. So you want to pray to be forgiven for all offences, and that we can engage in the Lord’s service.

Question: Hare Krsna dear Guru maharaj. I would like to know what inspired you to start your spiritual journey? Anonymous

Guru maharaj: I heard the history of Lord Buddha, how He was a prince and had all kinds of distractions of material enjoyment. One day he was taken outside of His palace and, I will see if I can remember, he saw a sick man, what is that? That is a sick man! What is a sick man? Everybody becomes sick. Everybody, I too, will I become sick? Maybe. Then he went along and saw an old man, and he said, what’s that? Wrinkled and old. What is that? That is an old man. Old man, what happens? will I become old? Yes, everybody becomes old. Oh, that is horrible! Then they came by and saw a dead person. What is that? That is a dead man. Everybody dies. We all die? We get sick, we get old, we die?! Nobody told me about this! Then he saw a baby. What is that? Oh, you are reborn. So it starts the whole thing over again! And He gave up everything and started to meditate. What is the purpose of life? Hearing that, I became inspired to find out what was the purpose of life. Haribol!

In Bengali: We serve guru and we serve Lord Nityananda as guru. If we serve Lord Nityananda, we will get Lord Caitanya! Isn’t that the truth!

Guru maharaj: We serve the guru as a representative of Nityananda Prabhu.

Question: Hare Krsna Guru maharaj. PAMRO. Today in the class you said that Lord Caitanya said that Lord Is the originator of the congregational chanting. I am confused with this. Who started the changing actually? I am sorry if I misunderstood. Could you please clear the confusion? Divya Nitai Lila dasi.

Guru maharaj: You see, Lord Nityananda is Balarama. He is the original devotee. Krsna is the Lord, He is the First. In the Rig Veda it says Om Krsna Adi Purusa Krsna Purusottamaha. So He is the Adi Purusa. Nityananda is His first expansion, the first devotee, He is the one who started the preaching. Because He is the first devotee. In that sense Lord Caitanya came in the form of a devotee, but He said that oh, well Lord Nityananda started. But in the spiritual world, Balarama is the first devotee. Ha! Lord is not His own devotee. Except He came as Lord Caitanya, in the mood of Radharani. Any way Lord Caitanya can say that!

Question: Guru is direct rep of Lord Nityananda, whom we can touch and feel and talk and get inspiration and instructions from. Can we convey our gratitude to Lord Nityananda for adventing as guru, knowing that guru is the Lord’s confidential servant? Sujitendriya das

Guru maharaj: We see the guru as Lord’s representative, so we can get inspiration from the guru. And we can be grateful to Lord Nityananda that He has come before as His representative, as guru. We are not qualified yet to see Lord Nityananda, but in due course, we will see Him, and we can also thank Him for giving us His mercy! Haribol!

Question: Have heard in Srila Prabhupada’s class that birth, death, old age are the big problems. And also anarthas like lust, anger and greed. But I don’t feel the gravity of the problem, I just take it as natural course of life. How to feel that yes, these are great problems of life and for that I should take spiritual life seriously?

Guru maharaj: The part of material life that we are trying to tell the people that they should leave this material life, go back to the spiritual world and live eternally. Where there is no death, no disease, no old age and no rebirth. Although this is a part of life, that should convince us that we don’t want this. It is a part of life that we shouldn’t be here in this world to suffer this old age, disease and death and rebirth. The purpose of life is to get out of these problems. We take them for granted. But that is not intelligence for us. We should take it seriously. That these are the real problems and they could be solved. Just as on the You Tube, they say we can cure diabetes if you eat a low carb die. In the Bhagavad-gita it says, you can cure material life with a high prasad diet! Ha! Haribol! Chant Hare Krsna, Serve Krsna and read the teachings of Krsna. Haribol!

Question: Hare Krsna dear Guru maharaj: PAMRO. Please explain the importance of a disciple to understand and to be in the mood of his spiritual master and parampara always. If not, carrying the same mood, is the disciple really connected to the spiritual master? Sumati Jahnava devi dasi

Guru maharaj: The disciple having the mood of the guru and the parampara, is a sign of a very advanced disciples. We should aspire for understanding the mood of the spiritual master. One time Srila Prabhupada asked, what is the thing you can gain from the guru? And everyone said so many things. Then he replied, get his vibration. His vibration is the essence. But you have translated as ‘mood’ could be. We want to absorb the mood of Srila Prabhupada and his disciples, our guru.
