So Murari Gupta’s Korca gives the following verses:

Then Lord Gauranga announced that someone by the name of Nityananda, a great soul, has come. After welcoming Him, please bring Him here immediately. So Murari Gupta he has his notes also, they are called the Murari Gupta Korca. They are in Sanskrit. His notes are used a lot by the Caitanya Mangal. So sometimes his version is a little different. So we take the additional information as something which augments historical information.

Hey Rama, and you Murari, Narayana and Mukunda, quickly go over there where that great soul is staying.

According to Lord Gauranga’s order all of them went to the villages, to the south. And they were looking for Lord Nityananda, but they were not able to see Him or find Him. So they returned to Lord Gauranga.

Sanskrit. They addressed Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu the Supreme of all the Controllers. They offered Him their obeisances and said, today, we have not been able to find Him. Then to them, the Lord said as follows: Hmmm. Accha! Very good! Go now again to this place!

So Lord Caitanya said, this great soul, He can be seen near His ashram at dusk. Hearing this the devotees first performed their daily duties, their bath and chanting of the Gayatri mantra. Then they proceeded with merry hearts to the place indicated by the Lord.

On the verge of dusk as the Spiritual Master of the whole universe, of all the living entitites, as He walked on the path, He saw Murari Gupta and told him, let us go where the avadoota is staying. They call Nandan Acarya’s house as Nandan Acarya’s temple because, in his house is a temple. So I will personally go to see that the great soul.

Caitanya Bhagavat Madhya kanda.

After a while the Lord said with a smiling face, come on, go with Me, and see Him there!

All the devotees with great happiness, they went with the Lord. They chanted Jai Krsna! And they went with the Lord!

Thus ends the chapter, Ha! Ha! Entitled Lord Gauranga leads the devotees to the house of Nandan Acarya meeting Nityananda Prabhu. Haribol!

So I said that Saturday, I would give a class from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm and take my lunch at 6.30 pm. So due to the storm and other things we were about 15 minutes late. But this is our hopeful plan. So any questions? We will end the questions answers at 9. Class is supposed to go 7.30 to 8.30 and half hour questions, introductions and other things. Any one has any question?

Question: In Bhagavad-gita Krsna says that when we remember Him at the time of death, we go back to Krsna, or if someone is more attached to his or her guru, if he remembers guru, what is his destiny? Where will we go? Do we go back to Krsna?

Guru maharaj: He didn’t ask the question saying he is more attached to guru than Krsna. He didn’t say that. We can say that the guru is acting as a representative of Krsna and since He is with Krsna, so thinking of the guru at the time of death, is like thinking about Krsna, and whether we go to guru or go to Krsna, it is one and the same thing.

Question: Mangalamayi Malini devi dasi: Hare Krsna guru maharaj, PAMRO. Did Nityananda Prabhu hide Himself to be seen by Lord Caitanya first?

Guru maharaj: we generally don’t like to speculate what the Lord does. It is an interesting speculation. But why Nityananda does what He does, unless He says it in the sastra, I don’t really feel qualified to say why. We know that the Supreme Personality of Godhead cannot be seen by our own efforts. He has to reveal Himself. So is that the reason why He did not let anyone Himself be discovered by anyone but Lord Caitanya? Since Lord Caitanya is Himself the Personality of Godhead, so He discovered Himself. So we generally don’t like to speculate. But Lord Caitanya said that you cannot find the Supreme Lord by looking for Him. He has to reveal Himself. So that is the thing that we were told.

Question: PARMO. Last night Guru maharaj said that Navadvip dham is Niladevi. But I read somewhere that Navadvip dham is created by Radharani. So can you please clarify this?

Guru maharaj: So where is the contradiction. Radharani is the source of all the queens in Dwaraka and the Laksmis in Vaikuntha. So if She creates Navadvip and has one of the Laksmis as Her expansions as in charge, what is the contradiction? The question was asked by? Kripathitha dd, Malaysia. She is here! She is here! How are you?

So someone is coming to give you walnut prasada and also the padukas. You have six minutes. Next question.

Question: Hare Krsna guru maharaj. I have committed for a Nrsimha brick for TOVP and received several gifts from TOVP office, including a pavitra. Please guide me Swapnil Tikale

Guru maharaj: A pavitra can be worn around the neck. You should not touch it to your feet or below the waist. It is considered a prasad of the deity and pavitras are offered to Lord Nrsimhadev. If someone who is aspiring for me or under my shelter or initiated, if they give the donation, they should inform my office and the 50% will go for the TOVP Exhibits. 3 minutes’ time! 10, 9, 8, 7!

Question: Why the pure devotees like Srivas Pandit or Haridas Thakur who are nitya parshad, they also could not identify Nityananda? Divya Nitai Lila devi dasi (Facebook question).

Guru maharaj: Krsna has the ability to keep Himself secret, and in one of the pastimes in Vrndavana, the gopis were looking for Krsna and Krsna appeared as Narayana. So then every gopi paid obeisances and said where is Krsna? and with one hand He pointed that way, but when Radharani came and asked where is Krsna, He couldn’t keep the 4 arms and He kept two arms and He was exposed! So even great nitya s cannot not find Krsna, only Radharani, She could.

Question: Sri Shakti devi dasi asked where is Nandan Acarya’s home, located at Koladvip or Mayapur?

Guru maharaj: It is a temple, next to Iskcon to the south and we usually call it the Goswami Matt, that is Nanda Acarya’s house. Alright that’s it. Anyone leaving?

Thank you all! Everyone got prasadam. What about the shoes?
