Jayapataka Swami: So we are in the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya sampradaya. One of the four sampradayas mentioned in the Padma Purana, that one has to receive their mantra from one of these four sampradaya, Brahma, Rudra, Kumara and Laksmi. So Madhvacarya went to the Pundarik Dham to the Badrika Ashram and met Vyasa deva and received the teaching from Vyasa deva. So he became – Brahma’s son was Narada muni, and his disciple was Vyasa deva and Vyasa’s disciple became Madhvacarya. So like that Madhvacarya, he was very transcendental, he gave the system of Dvaita Absolute Truth and the devotees. Lord Caitanya accepted that acintya bheda abheda tattva – that it is inconceivable that simultaneously we are one and different from Lord Krsna. So anyway Lord Caitanya came in Madhvacarya’s disciplic succession. Madhavendra Puri, his disciple was Iswara Puri and Iswara Puri’s disciple was Lord Caitanya. So we are very grateful to Madhvacarya, for his giving us the teachings of Lord Krsna, and in the Bhagavatam his purport is sometimes mentioned by Srila Prabhupada. So on his disappearance day we would like to offer our pranam and obeisances to him.
