Jayapataka Swami: First read Srila Prabhupada’s purport. You see my point was that, if you read the entire Bhagavad-gita, with His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami’s purports, then he answers these basic questions. He doesn’t say that oh, Krsna says this but He means something else! He explains direct meaning AS IT IS. So Krsna says mat karma – so what does that mean? That is explained by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada! This is what Krsna karma means. To do something for Krsna. Whether one is a grihasta or a businessman or whatever, you can do your activities for Krsna. So one has to maintain a family, one has to have a house, vehicle and so on, but your food you should offer to Krsna, and then you can eat it. So percentage of your business, apart from your comfortable living, you can use it for Krsna consciousness. This way, you are doing Krsna karma. As a sannyasi, we have to give up everything  – thoughts, words and deeds. But as a grihasta, you don’t have to give up everything. But you give something, 50% or 10% something to Krsna. That way you are doing Krsna karma. And in this way if you do Krsna karma you will go back to Krsna! Just like if you work for some company, you cannot claim the profit, it goes to the owners. You get your wage. Like that Krsna is giving something that you can live comfortable, but He is the owner, He gets the profit, not you. Haribol!
