Dear devotees and well wishers,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

After almost a month of being in the ICU and a week’s stay at the VIP room Guru Maharaja finally came out on his wheel chair onto the hospital corridors. This is certainly a milestone achieved post the recent very difficult health crisis. He was happy to be in the wheel chair, out at his own discretion, having a glimpse of sunlight through shaded glass doors.

A devotee from London with her one year old daughter was waiting in the corridor. Guru Maharaja gave her darshan and blessed her. She is a member of an existing Bhakti Vriksha in London and she informed Guru Maharaja that they have 30 Bhakti Vrikshas now and hope to have 50 Bhakti Vrikshas for ISKCON 50th anniversary. “I gave you one and you distributed”, Guru Maharaja replied.

Guru maharaj is as positive as ever and is really working hard. His regular physiotherapy sessions are helping in expanding his lungs. His diet is monitored as well. He had a fever the day before but has recovered. The health team are discussing on what best could be done for further recovery of Guru Maharaja.

Hari Lila Prabhu, Deputy Director of Mayapur, visited Guru Maharaja yesterday and they discussed on a lot of issues including the hospital set up in Mayapur. Guru Maharaja continues to use all his energy in Krishna’s service and continues to teach from his hospital bed.

Please send your Purushottama Month offerings to jpshealth108@gmail.com and we will make sure Guru Maharaja will be reported on this as soon as possible.

We will keep you informed through www.jayapatakaswami.com, JPS App (available on both iPhone and Android), and twitter (@jayapatakaswami).
