Update #30

Dear God Family, Disciples and well wishers of HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja,

Guru Maharaja has settled down well and slept well during the night.

Today Guru Maharaja was visited by various specialists and dietician who had been him before his surgery. They updated themselves and were quite satisfied with the progress made by Guru Maharaja thus far. All of them have assured Guru Maharaja that he will be given the best care and we are already seeing it happen.

Further test on the functioning of the kidney have been scheduled for Monday, 3rd Sep, 2018.

Guru Maharaja continues to be on ventilator as he has not been able to breathe well without support and the pulmonologist is working on this. Earlier in the day, the doctors had to deal with the tracheostomy tube which needed to be changed.

Guru Maharaja had desired and had been insistent since a few days after surgery to be moved out to a private hospital as was the original plan of action. Based on that, considering the seriousness of the procedures and after due consultation with doctors, it was decided to move him when he was stable and safe. This was also done keeping in mind that Guru Maharaja would need specialists to see him in further care and a smooth recovery.

We would like to assure disciples and well wishers that every moment is being reported by the 3 ground doctors (who are doing duty on rotation) and the servants looking after Guru Maharaja. This information is going to a forum of Doctors (specialists in different fields) selected by Guru Maharaja. In addition we have senior disciples of Guru Maharaj who form the Seva Committee looking at the recommendations given by doctors and present the options to Guru Maharaja for his decision.

Let’s whole-heartedly help the devotees who are toiling day and night keeping Guru Maharaja’s desires and interest 100% providing him all the care and attention by praying for them. We also need intense prayers for Guru Maharaja to pass through the hurdles. The only way out is to focus more on our sadhana and chant more for a quicker recovery of our Guru Maharaja.

On behalf of Health Team and JPS Seva Committee
