Nama Om Vishnupadaya…

I hope that all of you are liking this Navadvip dham parikrama. Today I was remembering Lochanadas Thakur’s song. He says in one place, in the song – bhajo bhajo bhai Caitanya Nitai sudrida vishwasha kori, vishaya chaadiya shei raase maajhiya mukhe bolo Hari Hari. In this parikrama which is a yagna, definitely there are many difficulties – heat, legs/feet pain, untimely meals, feel hungry, etc. But in between this, there is a rasa, mellow, service of the Lord. Navadvip dham parikrama means 24 hours service of the Lord, service of the vaishnavas, service to guru. This way there is a rasa, mellow. Even though there are a lot of inconveniences, there is a special happiness we experience. The conditioned souls in this earthly planet cannot understand this, that how service to Krishna, service to Gaura, there is happiness! This happiness has no bounds. Anander sima noi, Anander sima noi, Nirananda dure jai, Niranand dure jai. Even though the people were in many difficulties all day, at night there is a smile coming from their faces. There is a happiness in the service of the Lord. In this material world there will be some happiness, there is a special happiness in games, having children gives a happiness too, but along with these material pleasures there is sorrow too. Hunger is a sorrow, if children are not well, or untimely death are sorrows. In this material world there is happiness and sadness. It is not advisable to be involved in these material pleasures. There will be happiness and sorrow. That is why we should not make special efforts for these material pleasures. But what is required? Service to Krishna, this is the ultimate goal of our lives. This way doing service to Krishna, gives unlimited happiness. Those who are new devotees, they also feel very happy in the Navadvip parikrama and the older devotees, great joy. The whole day chanting the names of the Lord and hearing about Krishna. This way there is so much joy! I hope that all of you will remain in the service of Krishna, all your lives! Once you finish this Navadvip parikrama, you should remain in the service of Krishna all your lives. Hare Krishna!

I end here. Your ever well-wisher and servant,

Jayapataka Swami
